The Gen Bridge Courtyard warmly welcomes Jim Dumka. A former member of “The Spirit Of The Hills”and “The Kawartha Artist’s Group in Peterborough”.  Here’s some trivia: Who designed the original Trent Hills Logo? It is  still in use today with some minor changes.

About The Artist

Jim Dumka

Northumberland County artist, Jim Dumka is originally from Vancouver and has studied fine art and graphic design in Toronto at the Ontario College Of Art And Design and George Brown College. His work has been displayed in both solo and group exhibitions.

Group Exhibitions include: Spirit of the Hills organized Juried Art Shows at the Warkworth Maple Syrup Festival, Campbellford Memorial Hospital, Hillside Medical Centre, Trent Hills Municipal Offices, Annual Red Barn Shows at Campbellford Fairgrounds, and The Bohemian Penguin in Belleville. He has also participated in group shows at the Kawartha Artists’ Gallery and Studio in Peterborough.

Solo exhibits include: Paul Portelli Gallery in Warkworth, all three branches of the Trent Hills Public Library, The Human Bean Coffee Shop in Cobourg, the I Am Coffee Café in Campbellford, and Sticklings Bakery and Café in Peterborough.

From 1991 to 2005 Jim and his wife Mary Lou owned and operated Font & Pallet Graphic Design. Some notable local projects included: publications for Campbellford Memorial Hospital, Busy Bee Daycare, Hilltop Bed and Breakfast, and Campbellford Veterinary. They also designed the Logo for the newly amalgamated Municipality of Trent Hills in 2001.
